It's been too long since I updated!
Serena is 100% back to her old self...active, happy, and social. She is beginning to put 2 and 3 words together and tries to sing Twinkle, Twinkle and count. She says...1, 2, 9...it's funny.
Edwin is also doing well...walking and STEERING his walker and more independent standing...also knee walking! He has said a couple of words...Elmo, and "choo choo" for his Thomas trains. We have a speech eval Tuesday.
We had a wonderful Christmas. LOTS of toys for 2 very special two year olds!

I am so happy you have a wonderful Christmas. This was the first year that the boys seemed to 'get' it. They kept going under the tree to try to get another present (and sometimes, that present wasn't for them!).
It looks like Serena and Edwin loved their gifts!
OMG they are getting so big! And still gorgeous as ever!

We were getting worried there for a bit and are thrilled things are back to normal. Great news on Edwin's walking and talking too, and on Serena's word strings. We heard our first really spontaneous three-word-sentence this morning from Hallie ('one red ball') and were thrilled, thrilled, thrilled. I guess the nice thing about this micropreemie journey is that we don't take any milestones for granted; everything that they do is a total miracle and a cause for celebration.
